Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this converter status remote pendant for your Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power Converters. This status remote pendant is going to let you monitor and control your Inteli-Power PD9200 series converter. And this manual switch here is going to let you select the charging mode of the built-in charge wizard. And this indicator light that kinda resembles that wizard's crystal ball or orb, that light is going to display the current operating mode.
So as you might be able to see here on this label, the boost mode is indicated by a full on light and then the normal mode is indicated by a blinking light. And then the storage mode is indicated by a short flashing light. You're just going to simply press the button and hold to cycle through the modes. It will return to automatic mode when needed to prevent battery damage. So this is going to be a simple installation.
You're just going to connect this to your converter's accessory port via this three inch long cable. And then you're gonna be able to easily secure this with the peel and stick adhesive that's already applied here on the back of this unit. And just to give you some overall measurements to kinda give you an idea of the size, looking at the overall height, bring that into frame there for you, we're sitting about two inches tall. The overall width, we're sitting right about 1-1/4 inches wide. And then the overall depth, we're sitting right at about half an inch deep.

Intelligent controllers use various inputs to decide what to do, and sometimes they get stuck in the wrong mode. This inexpensive pendant not only allows you to finally know what mode the controller is in, but it also allows you to toggle through the various modes. I have found it to be essential for operating these charge controllers!

The Progressive Dynamics Converter Status Remote has worked flawlessly. Its great to look and see real time time status of the charge state. When it comes to batteries knowing more is always better.
Works as expected. Most Progressive Dynamics converters now come with one of these but if yours didn't or is lost/broken, you should get one. Gives you a bit more control of your converter. For my converter, it tends to drop the charging current when my lithium batteries are 75% charged. A couple of taps of the button will switch back to full charge rate. QR code on the front links to instructions.
This is an excellent product. It works. Perfect quiet running would highly recommend this product. George at etrailer is very helpful. If you have any questions he is a very good person. It’s hard to find people to be in touch with at companies nowadays.

The product works perfect. No issues at all. Would highly recommend it. The company is very helpful. And have people that knows what they’re talking about. Can handle any problems.
LED light is burning green instead of white. I have AMG batteries. The pendant instructions say something about a battery type LED indicator on the Converter itself. I can't find anything on the Converter. Is Green all there is? Is this normal?

Hey Fred. If the light is on continuously that means it is in boost mode. "Constantly monitors battery for voltage drop and quickly recharges battery or boosts power when needed." I have linked some information that explains each mode. To answer if its normal, yes, a solid green light would be normal :)

It’s nice to be able to see the charging status.
The pendent (remote reader) works great to let you know the status of your converter. My coverter has a charge wizard built into it. This makes it a smart, automatic charger. However, to know exactly what mode the charger is in, one must have this pendent. It's easy to install. Just find the connection on the converter. My converter was difficult to find because of the way the converter is installed. You can use your phone camera on selfie mode and photograph it. It attaches just like a telephone jack. I have attached photos of the connection point and the mounted pendant. It works great.

Still working great. No issuess
Converter arrived well packaged, sealed, and undamaged. Installation was easy because it exactly replaced the original converter that has lasted for 23 years.
All good now.
Used aid mail got here a week late.
Previous order was a week late but this one was in time.
Couldn't be happier with this new remote monitor, but also with the Converter / Charger I recently purchased that it monitors! Great Customer Service, great products at a great price... what else could you ask for?!?!?
So far so good. The pendant works as it is supposed to. Easy to install.
pendant is great, however website stated that the pd-9245c did not include the pendant, however the pendant was included with it and the separate pendant was not needed.
I needed to return it and you shipped to me via usps , return was to be ups which would cost me more than I paid you it.
Easy install and works great. The perfect addition to my system when replacing converter. Original converter did not have this feature. It's nice to see, and be able to change, the charging mode.
Install was easy. The remote wired pendant is very handy

Flawlessly, we’ve been out on the road since June, all over out west, as far as NW Washingtons state , Olympic national park.
This little device saved me 300$ when I switched from lead acid to lithium batteries. Simple 1 minute installation and test. Great communication between both parties shipping, and follow up after delivery.

This little device saved me hundreds of dollars and works great. If your older RV has a Progressive Dynamics power supply for lead acid batteries this device will charge LIFEPO4 batteries reliably. It just plugs into the existing power supply in seconds.
It works like a champ! I had retired from the military and am living the full time RV life. My only regret was that it's a converter and not an inverter.
One day I'll make the jump to lithium.
We have only one regret... we neglected to purchase a Valtera electric waste valve through [online store] vs etrailer. We learned a big lesson! The valve was junk and we'll purchase from you, once savings accumulates.
Quite happy with this product. Easy to install and is clearly superior to the one it replaced.
Great service. Ordered a new converter for the coach and it arrived early. Installed it and were back up and running ready for the next trip.

Made several trips since installing the new converter and still working like a champ. Very satisfied. Thanks guys.
I replaced my lead acid trailer battery with a LiFePO4 battery. The remote pendant allows me to fully charge the new battery by supplying 4 hours of 14.4 V when a recharge is needed. It worked whether we were on shore power or generator and me all our needs.
i bought this to trigger the progressive dynamics 9200 into 14.4v mode to charge a lifepo3 battery. well it works. it stays in 14.4 volt mode then the wizard takes over.
no problems with etrailer. i have bought from them before and will again.
post office is having problems with package routing in our area.
The first shipment was damaged by the carrier. Snapped a couple photos of the damage, sent to Josh K from etrailer and he immediately took action and got a new one expedited and it was at my doorstep a day later. I will order other item’s from etrailer because their service is top notch!!
Just got it hooked up so will have to see if it does what it's supposed to. It was a great experience with the etrailer crew. Shipping was a bit longer but then cross border and covid has slowed everything way down, so I am happy with the way everything went.

It is SO essential to have this pendant to use with the charger! It is simple and effective. After spending the winter camping in Arizona I used the pendant all the time because on many occasions the charger “thinks” the battery is full, when it’s not. The blinking LED on the pendant tells you exactly what the charger “thinks”, and the push button makes it easy to nudge it into the full charge mode when needed, which is often. I wouldn’t buy this charger without the inexpensive pendant!
